Accommodations & Travel Questions

We are a residential program. ALL housing is included. All breakfast meals and one dinner is included.
Because most of our participants are traveling to us from out of state, YES. The fee is $75 round trip.
We do not have an age restriction. We have an age guideline, one that you may heed or not. This program is targeted to those who are just beginning their careers, those seeking roommates in the same age range and those who may not have skill sets in networking- 18 to 25.

ALL ARE WELCOME! Every year we host film artist from all over the world and since our inception, most countries and every state in the US has been represented. We will have several lessons foreigners remaining n the US for college, work or short term trainings.

Whether you’re at the top of your game within the film industry that you are currently working in or simply exploring, we pride ourselves on creating an environment that will be highly beneficial for those at every stage of their Hollywood dreams.
Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to accommodate those who cannot read and speak English with confidence. Our sessions are too short and too fast paced to be helpful to students that want to utilize the program to become more fluent in English.

General Questions

Our directing staff are ALL working within the Los Angeles film industry AND all have mastered the subject matter they are teaching within this program. Most importantly, the entire team has gone through relocating to Los Angeles.
Participants reside in beautiful dormitories on the University Of LaVerne campus, just 20 minutes outside of downtown Los Angeles. Typically, there are two men or two woman in a room. Roommates are matched based on age and gender. You may request a roommate if you have a friend attending. A single room may be requested for a surcharge AND if one is available.
You may participate as a day student but there is NO discount in the tuition.
WE MAKE NO PROMISES! We are not selling success at any stage of integrating into this city or industry. Nor should a program SELL on the successes of their alumni. The Los Angeles film industry is unfair and unpredictable. Our goal here is to equip those who plan to relocate to Los Angeles with knowledge of the city, social & networking opportunities/skills and the latest industry trends for a well planned move.

Our Purpose

At Move Me To Hollywood, our purpose is to provide a finely focused camp experience that will allow our campers to realize their dreams of being a part of the Hollywood industry -- if only for the duration of each camp session.
